- Lost Lake, Mt Hood Oregon - 

First snow of the season is an exciting time in the Northwest, as Fall shifts to Winter. It's an occasion I always try to photograph each year. This time I happened to be in the right place at the right time, as I'd just finished photographing a photography job at Lost Lake and decided to check out the viewpoint before I headed home. Like out of a storybook, the clouds parted ways and revealed a fresh blanket of snow on Mt Hood from the night before. This light lasted only a few moments but I managed to get the shot in the very short amount of time everything came together.
