This hike in Memmalouse State Park is a famous place for absolutely glorious displays of Spring wildflowers, particularly in May. My hike this evening was rewarded with a lovely sunset sunburst when the sun emerged from below the clouds, just above the horizon. The hills are filled with wild Balsam Root (Balsamorhiza), Lupine (Lupinus) wildflowers, and beautiful green grasses. I’m so grateful to have captured this peaceful and glorious scene of natures beauty on this rare calm evening paired with a colorful sunset!
