It was midnight and I had just finished an all day long photo shoot on a hot summer day. I was exhausted, but couldn't stop thinking about how perfectly Lost Lake and the stars would photograph on this particular evening. Glad I followed my intuition and made photos into the wee hours of the morning, as conditions this perfect to photograph stars and the lake rarely happen. This is a stitched panorama merged together from several different images, resulting in a finely detailed high resolution print that looks fantastic at large sizes.
