Comet NEOWISE (C/2020 F3) photographed early morning of July 11, 2020 over Mt Hood, Oregon from Tom Dick and Harry Mountain.
Some images are successfully achieved more easily than others. This was not one of them! The night before this was completely unsuccessful and full of disappointment. Wrong place, wrong time, too many clouds and more. Attempt #2 was planned out a bit better and required more effort (hiking miles up a mountain on no sleep at 2AM) but it paid off to capture this once in a lifetime celestial event of Comet NEOWISE over Mt Hood!
